Bureau with Cabinet

This bureau and storage cupboard was commissioned by one of our customers. As you will see by the before picture, it looked very different. She wanted this unit to tie in with a coffee table/ chesterfield seat we did for her last year. So I took one of the greys I painted on the coffee table and used it on this bureau- for it all to flow seamlessly #fusionmineralpaintuk Little Lamb. On the coffee table I also used the flower design called #naturalsplendour by #redesignbyprima. We carefully removed the trellis on the glass as our client was not keen on the design. We replaced it with an Art Deco trellis design which is made of 2ml ply. Before adhering it to the glass, I painted it with several colours to tie in with the #ilovewallpaper and the flower design. One of the colours I used was #craigandrose – Bronze Gold which I applied with a textured sponge to create a Certain texture and look. I added a bit more Bronze Gold to the bottom trim. As you will see in one of the pics, we added 3 port holes for a client to feed cables through.
